Imran tried to save himself and came out safe avoiding the voting procedure. He repeatedly kept on mentioning that external forces are behind bringing him down. On 27th March, Imran released a proof supporting his above statement.
Later, during National Assembly’s voting on 9th and 10th April 2022, Imran couldn’t prove his majority thereby becoming the first Prime Minister in history of Pakistan, to be voted out .

Inflation caught up on a big scale. Although Gotabaya's government was in trouble since 2021, this became huge during March 2022. Following this, in May 2022, Gotabaya tendered his resignation, although he wasn’t keen on getting down of the throne.
On 9th July, protesters barged into President’s house and created havoc, but until then, Gotabaya Rajapaksa managed to fly away with his family.
